Alicia Vikander walks the red carpet looking chic as ever while attending the premiere of her movie The Testament of Youth on Monday (September 7) at UGC Cine Cite Bercy in Paris, France.
The 26-year-old Swedish actress is having a break-out year with four movies already in theaters since January – Ex Machina, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.,Seventh Son, and Testament of Youth – and at least another two scheduled for release – The Danish Girl and Burnt.
Alicia just finished up promo for The Danish Girl at the Venice Film Festival and she is promoting Testament in France right now as it will be released there on September 23.
We sure hope to see Alicia being recognized in awards season this year with one of the films!

The Louis Vuitton show took place on the season's last day in the shadow of its parent company's gargantuan new art museum, the Louis Vuitton Foundation, on the outskirts of Paris. Across the catwalk from the Arnault family of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton and sitting between Anna Wintour and Miranda Kerr was the Swedish actress Alicia Vikander.
"I feel very Parisian chic," said Ms. Vikander, the star of the fall 2015 Louis Vuitton campaign (who was dressed in Nicolas Ghesquière's styles, from head to toe).
What is your earliest memory of Louis Vuitton?
I was actually very young and remember it so vividly. I had practice at ballet school and had forgotten my rucksack, and so my friend's grandmother lent me her old Louis Vuitton handbag. I remember being quite nervous to use it! I knew that I had something quite precious in my hands.
How has your perception of it changed, now that you have started working for the brand?
I have a greater depth of understanding of fashion as an art form, I think. I see Nicolas as an artist who is really pushing the boundaries of his discipline. As an individual, he's incredibly inspirational, as is what he's doing in carving out the future of this brand.
What are you doing after the show?
First, I have a photo shoot. But then I'm going to spend a few hours in Paris with my friend Lisa who came with me on this trip. I want to head over to Montmartre and just wander around. It's a real bohemian melting pot of art galleries and sex shops and cafes and boutiques and one of my favorite parts of the city.
It's straight back to London!
What are you doing in London?
Well, I'm starting shooting on my latest movie, which is the latest Bourne movie with Matt Damon. It's incredibly exciting, and I can't wait. Then I have a lot of promotion to do for "The Danish Girl," and I've got two more movies that will be released soon after that, so it's a constant whirlwind of work and travel for me right now. But it's wonderful! I'm having fun.

I'm only quoting the Alicia part of the article here. See link regarding the other stars and winners.
British director Tom Hooper, who was responsible for The King’s Speech and Les Miserables, was given the Hollywood Director Award for his new movie The Danish Girl, which stars Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne as a transgender pioneer in the 1920s.Eddie’s co-star Alicia Vikander was presented with the Hollywood Breakout Actress Film for her role as his wife.
Speaking on the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the Swedish actress said: “I’ve only been in this room once before in my life and that was three years ago at the Golden Globes with a foreign film.“I thought it was an experience I could tell my grandkids about, that I went to this Hollywood awards thing and saw all these people I looked up to and admired.“I never thought I would work with some of the directors and actors that I met here and to be back is extraordinary.”

An early glimpse has just been released that will undoubtedly whet your appetite for Derek Cianfrance's upcoming emotional roller coaster, "The Light Between Oceans." The stunning picture, which first appeared on The Film Stage, shows breakout star Alicia Vikander standing on a precipice in front of the Indian Ocean.
This follow-up to Cianfrance's triptych "The Place Beyond the Pines" features an equally formidable cast led by Vikander, Michael Fassbender and Rachel Weisz. Based on the novel of the same name by M.L. Stedman, "The Light Between Oceans" tells the story of a lighthouse keeper and his wife who find a baby washed ashore in a rowboat and raise it as their own. The picture offers an early look at the devastatingly beautiful Australian frontier that serves as the backdrop for the drama.
Unfortunately, audiences may have to wait a while to see "The Light Between Oceans" as the film is still in post-production. The movie currently has no U.S. release date, and its UK release was recently postponed to January 2017.

Alicia's videos for this article are on the Hollywood Reporter website:
The in-demand star has eight credits to her name between this year and next, including an upcoming flick with Michael Fassbender.
In 2013, Alicia Vikander was starstruck when attending the Golden Globe Awards ceremony at the Beverly Hilton, where A Royal Affair was nominated for best foreign-language film (the Danish historical drama, along with Anna Karenina, put the Swedish actress on Hollywood’s radar). “I walked into this room with my director and I just couldn’t stop giggling,” Vikander, 27, recalled at the Nov. 1 Hollywood Film Awards, likewise held at the Hilton. “We talked about how it would be a memory that I would tell my grandkids about.” She’s not giggling anymore. Only two years later, the in-demand actress — who, between this year and next, has eight film credits to her name — accepted the HFA’s award for breakout actress for her performance opposite Eddie Redmayne in Tom Hooper’s The Danish Girl (Nov. 27). She’s expected to continue to be a force in this year’s awards race, and wowed in April indie hit Ex Machina. And, in her biggest gig yet, she’s currently shooting the fifth Jason Bourne film opposite Matt Damon. “It’s a franchise, but I’m really enjoying myself. I found myself on set the other day and I was like, ‘Gasp. Oh my God, it’s one of those sets,’” says Vikander. She was the girl-of-the-moment at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, where she promoted her upcoming film, Tulip Fever, as well as supported her boyfriend, Michael Fassbender, who was in Cannes with Macbeth (there’s buzz she and the actor have split). The daughter of Swedish actress Maria Fahl Vikander, her other 2015 films to hit theaters included Testament of Youth, The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and Burnt. Tulip Fever, The Light Between Oceans, co-starring Fassbender, and Bourne are out in 2016.
Actor I'm dying to work with: Mark Ruffalo and Marion Cotillard. I think she’s amazing.
Director I'm dying to work with: Michael Haneke has been one of my dreams to work with since I was young. He has some very amazing female parts. Also, Tomas Alfredson and the Coen brothers.
Ideal date night: I love to cook. That’s a clear sign that I have some time off. I wake up in the morning, and I go and spend a few hours at the supermarket and find new things. I’ll be Googling trying to find new recipes. That’s a wonderful date night, to cook food.
Biggest challenge: It’s been everything from not working in my native language in most of my films and being an A.I. in Ex Machina. Derek Cianfrance [Light Between Oceans] works in a very specific way and had us live together in the same house for the entire shoot. I think I’ve chosen all of those projects because they have a clear challenge. Being a bit scared is what makes me interested in a project from the get-go.
